Kleinood Farm
Kleinood means something small and precious – from Afrikaans, of Dutch & German origin. This family-owned farm lies nestled in the Blaauwklippen Valley outside Stellenbosch.With just twelve hectares of arable land, ten hectares are devoted to their beloved vines, with the remaining two under de Boerin’s olive trees.
Tamboerskloof Wines
Wind, rain, sun, and soil are mysteriously absorbed by the vine to produce juice-filled berries that they, through the fine balance between magic and science, gently coax, to become a thing of beauty, in every sense of the word. Each half-hectare vineyard block on the farm is managed as a separate unit, which allows the grapes from each unit to be cared for, irrigated, harvested, crushed, fermented and matured in wood separately.
